This verse in Lady Gaga's Applause is my favourite and reminds me exactly why I love her. I love it because it says exactly how I feel about about these things: Art, pop culture, nostalgia for things I have and have not experienced. They're in me and make me, well, Me. I'm not saying this very articulately but what I am trying to say is that this verse describes this blog almost entirely
I love Jeff Koons and his work. I remember studying him for the first time in Secondary School when I did Art. There's currently an exhibition in the Brighton Royal Pavillion which is FREE! So I'm definitely going to make time to see that.

The verse also reminded me of the work of two of my favourite artists Ron English and Joe Webb. Ron English is an american artist from Texas who's art explores popular culture images and branding. I've loved him forever and will never be able to get over how amazing his work is. Joe Webb is a British collage artist whose work I was lucky enough to see in a gallery in Stoke Newington. His collection Pulp Friction is amazing and I'd love to be able to make collages like him.
